The Hollywood & Vine Recovery Center (HVRC) is an outpatient treatment and recovery center for alcoholism, drug dependency, and co-occurring mental health disorders. HVRC’s diverse and compassionate professionals facilitate our clients along a holistic treatment and recovery plan that is spiritual in its nature. We maintain a safe space for all to heal and recover from addiction and mental health suffering; a place for those in need to be met with empathy, sympathy, compassion, and a program of recovery. Our multidisciplinary clinical team is passionate about whole-self healing and personalized client-centered care. HVRC’s treatment and recovery programs do more than provide our clients with tools to learn to live life “clean and sober.” Understanding that long-term recovery often involves more than just treating one’s physical symptoms, our team of addiction, medical, and mental health professionals facilitate holistic recovery on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.
Alcohol use disorder, substance use disorder, and co-occurring mental health disorders are illnesses of the brain that can affect the body, mind, emotions, and the spirit. That being the case, the HVRC comprehensive approach to treatment addresses each area affected. This includes addressing physical health & wellness, emotional healing, and mental treatment and restoration, all of which can lead to a spiritual awakening. Our treatment modalities include both intensive outpatient programs and outpatient programs that are delivered in a safe, comfortable, and alcohol & drug free environment.

Whether it’s binge drinking on a single occasion or habitual drinking over a long period of time, alcohol misuse or abuse poses grave risks. Risks that include chronic disease and even death. However, the good news is that recovery is possible and happening every day.
CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS
People with SUD may also have other mental health disorders. Likewise, those with mental health disorders may also struggle with substance abuse. These co-occurring mental health disorders can include anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality disorders, ADHD, and more.
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is a treatable mental disorder that affects a person’s brain, behavior, and their ability to control their substance use. SUD symptoms can range from moderate to severe, with addiction being the more severe form of SUD.
When compared to the adults suffering with SUD, adolescents (age 12-17) have distinct psychological, developmental, and emotional strengths and needs. Alcohol and drug use can interfere with a teen’s physical growth and psychosocial development.

In order to facilitate long-term recovery, our personalized treatment approach is built on evidence-based techniques like dialectal behavior and cognitive behavioral therapy. These advanced therapies can bring about the best possible outcome in a client’s journey toward healing. The range of therapies used cater to each client’s overall well-being. From psychotherapy to address mental health to nutritional counseling that helps clients make healthier choices, our outpatient treatment is all about holistic healing and recovery. We tailor our approach to meet each client’s need in an effort to help them achieve long-term sobriety and happy, healthy lives.
During our comprehensive assessment process, information is collected from the Client (and occasionally family and/or persons significant to the Client’s life) to aid our clinical team in further assessing the appropriate level of care and method of treatment for each Client.
Groups are used as a part of a multiphase process within our comprehensive outpatient recovery programs. Group counseling services combine group goals and individual group member needs while using various methodologies to aid individuals in meeting their personal objectives and ultimately their treatment and recovery goals. One-on-one counseling is a cornerstone of the HVRC treatment and recovery process. Using evidence-based approaches, HVRC uses one-on-one behavioral counseling to create the framework for guiding clients through the steps that will aid in preventing relapse when triggered through life’s stressors.
Treatment plans are critical to ensure that the HVRC clinical team and clients are thinking through all the important aspects necessary for each client’s recovery. Treatment and Recovery plans are individualized and contain different measurable goals and action steps for each client.
RECOVERY PLANS
Recovery Planning (also referred to as Aftercare Planning) will follow after treatment plans, and is designed to prepare clients for the anticipated challenges once discharged from their program. Recovery Plans follow the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services (SAMHSA) guide to comprehensive recovery planning which allows for individual planning fit for the life and circumstances of each client, setting them up for long-term success, sobriety, and recovery.
FAMILY RECOVERY
Family members and others with significant relationships to the Client have the opportunity, and are sometimes encouraged, to be included in sessions, always in agreement with the Client. Family Recovery sessions aid in promoting healthy boundaries, communication, and support.

Because Substance Use Disorder affects so many facets of the addicted person’s life, case managers at HVRC ensure a comprehensive continuum of services to promote recovery and enable clients to fully integrate into society as a healthy, substance-free individual.
